Ty Harvey Headed to MLB Draft Combine After Historic Season at Inspiration Academy
Inspiration Academy is proud to announce that senior Ty Harvey, a Florida State commit and one of the top high school baseball prospects in the nation, has been officially invited to the 2025 MLB Draft Combine, taking place June 17–19 in Phoenix, Arizona. Harvey is currently ranked No. 148 on MLB.com's Top Draft Prospects list and is projected to be selected within the top four rounds of this summer's MLB Draft—making him the highest-rated prospect in Inspiration Academy history.
This milestone is the culmination of years of dedication, development, and elite performance. Ty has been a part of the Inspiration Academy family since 7th grade. Over the past six years, he has become a cornerstone of the program—known not only for his tremendous on-field talent, but for his leadership, humility, and relentless work ethic.
Harvey's senior season was nothing short of remarkable. In 129 plate appearances, he posted a staggering .571 batting average and an eye-popping 1.726 OPS, racking up 12 doubles, 5 triples, 7 home runs, and 30 RBIs. He also scored 40 runs and drew 34 walks—dominating both statistically and situationally at the plate.
In the final weeks leading up to the MLB Draft Combine, Ty has been participating in individual private workouts with more than 10 MLB organizations, giving professional teams a closer look at the player—and person—behind the numbers.
The MLB Draft Combine is a prestigious event that brings together top high school and college prospects for workouts, interviews, and evaluations in front of scouts and front office executives from all 30 MLB clubs. It's a key step in the draft process, and a major spotlight for Ty on the national stage.
