At Inspiration Academy, we pride ourselves on player and character development through mentorship, discipleship, and innovative training. That does not stop with our athletes but extends to our coaches as well. We want to make sure our athletes receive the best coaching possible so that means bringing in quality coaches and helping them be the best they can be. Our development and mentorship model for coaches rivals that of our players as we cannot call ourselves the best development system if we don't constantly improve our staff. Our unique environment allows coaches more quality hands on time with a variety of different levels ranging from middle school to collegiate athletes. As coaches hone their skills with us, we find it easy to help them get college or professional coaching opportunities. The coaching industry by nature has a high turnover rate as coaches continue to seek knowledge and move to the next level. We feel like we wouldn't be doing a good job with our coaching development if colleges and professional organizations didn't pursue our coaches.
We keep a core group coaches that will be here year after year, but also bring in personnel that are looking to grow and leave to pursue other ambitions in the coaching world. We believe this model lets us bring top tier coaching talent in our doors. It allows our kids be coached by a variety of great minds in our field. This also grows our college and pro network as our coaching tree expands all over the country.
Since 2018 we've had 12 of our coaches go on to coach in college while 5 of our coaches have gone on to coach with MLB organizations.
Here is a list of former IA coaches that are still in baseball or softball. The years in parentheses were the years they were at IA, followed by their current job in baseball. We've been fortunate to be a part of these coaches careers and they leave a lasting impact on our athletes and academy.
