Player Development Matters: Class of 2025 All Commit to D1 Colleges

Inspiration Academy Softball started 4 years ago in the Fall of 2021 with a goal to set out to be the top development spot for softball girls and their families. We wanted to give the softball community more than games, trophies, and rings, but real player development from the inside out to prepare and launch girls into college completely ready for the next level. We believe that with consistent hard work in our program, we can help athletes unlock their potential and play above their age level.

In our first year we grew our program around freshman and middle schoolers. The task of growing a highly competitive softball program from nothing was daunting but with the buy in from a handful of athletes and their families we were off and running. As a program, wins are not the main focal point.  We believe in trusting the process to improve daily. Through our consistent intentional training schedule both in the weight room and on the field with ex-professional and collegiate coaches, our middle schoolers played like highschoolers - our underclassmen played like upperclassmen - and our upperclassmen competed with colleges. All this was happening while we continued to mentor leaders and cultivate a culture of belonging and training the leaders of tomorrow's world.

In November of 2024, Elle Hildreth committed to Middle Tennesse University and became the third and final senior to commit to play college softball. This is our 5th college commit in two years and 4th division 1 commit. Danika Best (class of 2024) currently is playing at Iowa State, while Jade Carnahan, Avery Bouquin, and Alexis McInerney committed to University of Central Arkansas, UNC Greensboro, and Palm Beach Atlantic respectively, earlier in 2024. This proves the process works! Instead of chasing high school accolades we are focused on what the game can do for us in college. That is why we will have the most college ready athletes in the state.

We are so excited for the 2025 season to showcase how hard our girls have worked and to celebrate our 3 seniors. Elle, Jade and Avery helped grow our academy from non-existent to one of the top teams in the state in 2024. We couldn't be prouder of the work they put in, the trials they persevered, and the success they have earned. 2025 is their victory lap, while for our other girls, they will begin making a name for themselves. They will prove that hard work and dedication works for them too.
