It is our honor and privilege to celebrate three of our senior athletes making the commitment to play at the collegiate level. Gabe Wagner (left) signed to play baseball at John Wood Community College. Danika Best (middle) signed to play softball at Iowa State University. Valerie Sanchez (right) signed to play tennis at University of Texas San Antonio. We are extremely proud of the hard work these athletes put in over the years to accomplish their goals. This is the first time in IA history that these three departments have had a signee on the same day. Each of these athletes also received 100% full tuition from their college! Congratulations to our class of 2023 signees!

Gabe Wagner

Gabe Wagner is entering his 5th full year at IA as he has been at IA since 8th grade. Gabe came into our program as an underdeveloped, out-of-shape middle schooler and lacked the confidence needed to play at the next level. Gabe rode his ups and downs through his five years at IA and has morphed into a workhorse on the mound, in the weight room, and on the field in both practice and game environments. His ability to transform himself during his time here is a true testament to his hard work and dedication to his craft. He is an awesome example of how you can control your own destiny!




 

Danika Best

Danika Best enters her second full year at IA as she transferred to us during the spring of her sophomore year. For as long as we've known Dani, she's had one thing on her mind: block out the noise and find a way to play collegiate softball. She has put her head down and worked hard, utilizing every resource we have in our player development system throughout her time here. As someone who came to us later in her athletic career, her goal was to get every thing out of what we had to offer. Danika continued to hone her craft and then was named the #10 outfielder in her class (by ExtraInnings). She was recruited by various schools for her talents but found a home at Iowa State with a plus culture and loving coaches that cared about her. Congrats to Danika on being our first ever softball senior and first softball signee!






Valerie Sanchez

Valerie Sanchez has been attending Inspiration Tennis Academy for many years. 
She has shown incredible work ethic, discipline, athleticism and respect for her coaches throughout all those years. The hard work and sacrifice that her family and herself made has finally paid off, earning her a full scholarship to a Division I school in San Antonio, Texas. We are all very proud of Valerie's achievements in her career and wish her the best of luck in this new chapter of her life.
