Coach Martin Esquivel joined Inspiration Academy this year as a social studies teacher and was recently named the head coach for the school. He comes from Manasota Youth soccer League where he was the Director of Coaching for one year and was a coach for three years. He coached two U19 teams where he was able to send eight players to college throughout both separate seasons. Coach Esquivel also comes from Southeast High school where he also taught social studies for three years and was the Head soccer coach for JV.
Outside of soccer Coach Esquivel comes from Hiram College where he played collegiate D3 football and volleyball. In his senior year, through the Ricky Branch scholarship, he was able to assist football, volleyball, and soccer teams during their seasons to learn about the ways of coaching at the collegiate level.
“Through God I was able to find a home here at IA, my testimony comes from the Lord and what He provides for me. Here I plan to take soccer and lay its foundations for years to come, through God’s grace, we will develop at all levels for soccer and help grow our athletes closer to God.”
